Basics

TGA-File-Format

The TGA or Targa-File-Format is basically a Bitmap-Format.
TGA can save colors in 8, 16, 24 and 32 bit color depth.
NoLimits uses the 32 bit format, because that´s the only format that can also save an alpha-channel.
The alpha channel will be the mask that we put arround our graphic.
The mask is required for NoLimits to see what parts of the graphic will be used. That means that all parts that are not surrounded by a mask will not be displayed later on in NoLimits.

That´s my version of TGA in NL.
